আষাঢ় Asharh
আষাঢ় বর্ষা ঋতুর প্রথম মাস। মেঘ, বৃষ্টি ও ধান রোপণ-র সময় — বাংলার কৃষি বছরের হৃদয়। Asharh opens Borsha (monsoon)—clouds, rain, and rice planting at the heart of Bengal’s farm year.
নামের অর্থMeaning of the name
আষাঢ় নক্ষত্র থেকে নাম। ‘আষাঢ়’ শব্দটি বর্ষার আগমন ও নদীতে জলের উত্থানের সঙ্গে জড়িত লোকজ স্মৃতিতে স্থান পেয়েছে।Named for the Ashadha asterism; in folk memory it marks rising rivers and the arrival of monsoon.
